IDP Waiver Wire: Week 15 Pickups and Matchup Plays
Week 15 ushers in Saturday football, and with the playoffs here, it's crucial that you set your lineups to ensure you have the right guys and don't miss out on any of the games. The biggest injuries to watch will be Ezekiel Ansah, as he missed most of the second half with a shoulder injury that's hampered him all season. Matt Milano suffered a broken leg, which will cause him to miss the rest of the season. Eric Berry could make his season debut this week, but I'm not in a hurry to start him since it will be his first game action.
Hopefully, you're still alive this week in the playoffs and the injuries haven't hampered your team too much. As we head into Week 15, let's take a look at the waiver wire options and see who we're targeting this week.
Week 15 IDP Waiver Wire
Defensive Line
Denico Autry, DT, Indianapolis Colts (51 snaps/71 percent)
It's now hard to ignore what Autry has done over the last few weeks. Last week was an outlier and I wasn't sure what to make of it. He repeated a top-10 DL spot this past week, and has now recorded six sacks in his last four games, including two or more in consecutive weeks. His snap usage is up as he's been appearing in at least 71 percent of the snaps. He's registering a near 15 percent pressure rate over the last two weeks and has favorable matchups with Dallas and the Giants.
Trey Flowers, DE, New England Patriots (41 snaps/85 percent)
He shouldn't be available, but depending on the size of your league, he could be. He had produced four-straight games of single-digit fantasy points, so it's possible someone dropped him. Even though his sacks are down, he's still producing consistent pressure on the QB, resulting in a 14.2 percent QB pressure rate. I really like the matchup coming up with Pittsburgh, and he recorded six solo tackles in their first go around with Buffalo.
Jurrell Casey, DE, Tennessee Titans (59 snaps/83 percent)
I think Casey continues to go overlooked in some circles. He has sacks in three straight games and has recorded at least four or more tackles in that same timeframe. This season, he's recording an 8.4 percent tackle rate and a 9.4 percent pressure rate. He has a favorable matchup coming up in Week 15 against a Giants offensive line who's giving up pressure at a high rate.
