Streaming Kickers: Week 15 Targets

It’s fantasy playoff time folks, and despite what some say, the points coming from your kicker could be the difference between advancing to the next round or watching from the sidelines.

The goal in streaming the kicker position is to roster a player who will return starting kicker fantasy points and in Week 14, three of my recommendations—Mike Badgley, Brett Maher and Aldrick Rosas—, were all among the top five. 4for4’s optimal streamer has 183 points this season—good enough for the highest point total at the position.

In order to provide advice you can actually implement, candidates for streaming must be owned in no more than 40 percent of Yahoo fantasy leagues. As always, check 4for4’s rankings when making weekly decisions on any position.

Cody Parkey, (Bears vs. Packers)

Parkey has been up and down this season, but the Bears’ recent play has put him in good positions, fantasy-wise. He gets a home contest this week against Green Bay, a team ranked 24^th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA) to kickers. The game has an over/under of 45.5, with 25.85 implied for Chicago. Parkey’s team is projected to win by six in this NFC Central battle, which is usually a good indicator of kicker success. He’s rostered by only 12 percent of Yahoo players, so grab him if you’re in need.
