Streaming Tight Ends: Week 16 Targets
We’ve reached the championship games for most fantasy leagues and if you’ve managed to make it this far without a top-tier TE, a huge high five to you.
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers. 4for4 rankings also come into play here and should always be considered when making league-specific roster decisions.
Last week I had one guy, Chris Herndon, produce starting TE numbers, and after 14 weeks of football, our optimal TE streamer has 210.5 PPR fantasy points—good enough for TE4 on the season thus far. On to Week 16, and the players who can help you hoist that championship trophy.
In order to provide advice that you can actually implement, candidates for tight end streaming consideration must be owned in no more than 40 percent of Yahoo fantasy leagues.

Ed Dickson/Nick Vannett, (Seahawks) vs. Chiefs
Over the past three games, Dickson has seen one more target than Vannett and posted 1.2 more fantasy points. Nothing earth-shattering for either Seattle TE, but this is what we’re dealing with this season at the position. Seattle is coming off a tough divisional loss to the 49ers and get to host Kansas City’s 31st ranked defense in TE aFPA on Sunday night. The Chiefs have yielded massive games to TEs this season, including a combined 30.1 PPR points from Jared Cook and Lee Smith in Week 13 and 32.2 from the Rams tandem of Tyler Higbee and Gerald Everett. Very much alive in the NFL postseason scenario, look for Seattle to use every weapon they have to come out on top.
Dickson is rostered by three percent of managers and Vannett is currently on five percent of Yahoo rosters.
