The Texans traded a fourth-round pick in the 2020 draft that can become a third-rounder to the #Browns for Duke Johnson.
It looks like the Texans cutting Donta Foreman turned out to be a bad thing for Lamar Miller in the end. Adding Duke Johnson to the backfield is a big upgrade for the Texans offense but a downgrade for Lamar Miller's upside. Johnson will automatically take over receiving work and should compete for touches with Miller. Johnson isn't guaranteed a big workload, but he will undoubtedly see an increase in touches from what he would have had in Cleveland. This move also boosts Nick Chubb and Dontrell Hilliard up, likely giving him a few more touches and possibly more receiving work, while pushing Hilliard into Johnson's role as a change-of-pace and receiving option.
