Main Slate Cash Game Strategy
Quarterback
Josh Allen ($5,300) in a matchup with the Giants looks like he'll be my go-to pay-down quarterback for cash games this week. He currently ranks as our top quarterback option in terms of our value metric. The Bills offense got off to a slow start against a respectable Jets' defense last week, but Allen turned it on in the second half. He gets a very favorable matchup with the Giants, who rank 22nd in adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA) to quarterbacks. Dak Prescott absolutely obliterated the Giants in Week 1, and Allen can have the same success. A major plus to rostering Allen in cash is that he has a massive ceiling. As he displayed against the Jets, he can use his legs to extend drives and even get into the end zone. The rushing provides an elevated floor which is also good for our cash lineups. If he tacks on 30-40 rushing yards per week, it's like adding a touchdown to his stat line every week.
