The team does not believe the ankle injury to Falcons’ QB Matt Ryan is serious, per source.

Fantasy Impact:

Ryan was in a walking boot after the loss to the Rams, Schefter said, and is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his ankle Monday. The Falcons have a bye in Week 9 so maybe they consider sitting Ryan out, esp. looking at a 1-6 record heading into Week 8. This is something to monitor.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
