WR Antonio Brown hopeful for decision 'very soon'

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Antonio Brown remains hopeful that a decision will come “very soon.” There’s a sense of optimism from Brown’s perspective that he will be cleared to return to the NFL before the 2019 regular season ends.

Fantasy Impact:

Brown had his interview with the NFL last Thursday. Brown, who is a free agent, can sign with any team at any time. He would provide a huge lift to a team that is headed for the playoffs or competing for a playoff berth. As we reported earlier, Brown issued a public apology to Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
