Chiefs RB Damien Williams announced he is opting out of the 2020 season on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

This is the first opt out to have big fantasy implications as Williams was slated to have a significant role in the Kansas City backfield. This news should send rookie Clyde Edward-Helaire's fantasy stock soaring, and for good reason. The Chiefs boast a prolific offense and Edwards-Helaire's skillset is a perfect match for Andy Reid's scheme. Williams opting out clears the way for him to have a huge role working alongside Patrick Mahomes. It is possible that this move revives interest in former fantasy darling Darwin Thompson, but the smart money is on Edwards-Helaire having a huge fantasy impact in his first season.

Keenan Allen is questionable with an ankle injury. He was limited on Friday, his first day on the participation report.

Separate reports called Swift "very likely" to play, but this is seemingly a new issue for Allen.

If Keenan were to miss Week 12, it would boost the floor of all pass-catchers, namely Moore, Oduzne, and Cole Kmet. Moore + Odunze would sneak closer to WR2 territory than their low-end WR3 designations they have with a healthy Allen.

It was later reported that Pacheco was "healthy enough" but they're hoping to hold him back one more game with a short week coming up. This makes Hunt a volume-based RB2 in Week 12.

Lamb (back/foot) was limited in a walkthrough on Wednesday and missed practice on Thursday.
