DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) misses second consecutive practice

According to NFL.com, Arizona Cardinals superstar wide receiver Deandre Hopkins missed practice for the second consecutive day on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

Hopkins is dealing with an ankle injury of unknown severity. One would hope that he is able to get in a limited session on Friday in order to avoid any uncertainty regarding his Week 4 status, but at this point nothing is clear. This is a situation to monitor but there is a chance that his availability ultimately comes down to a game-time decision. Hopkins has been on a tear this season and is our number one overall ranked receiver for Week 4 against the Carolina Panthers.

This puts Schoonmaker more or less in TE streaming consideration, but there are far better options this week, which puts him low on the totem pole.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
