New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas was able to log a limited practice session for the second straight day.

Fantasy Impact:

Thomas appears to be nearing his return and his two limited sessions to start the week suggests that he has a good chance to do just that this weekend. He has been sidelined since Week 1 with a variety of ailments and should provide a major boost to the offense. His return means that Alvin Kamara's otherworldly usage may take a hit, but he is still well on his way to joining the 1k/1k club. Thomas will immediately return to WR1 status if active.

This puts Schoonmaker more or less in TE streaming consideration, but there are far better options this week, which puts him low on the totem pole.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
