The Cowboys are starting Garrett Gilbert at quarterback against the Steelers in Week 9.

Fantasy Impact:

It was between Gilbert and Cooper Rush after Ben DiNucci had an extremely forgettable debut Sunday night against the Eagles. Needless to say, the Cowboys are in a rough spot, though Gilbert was actually the leader in passing yards in the short-lived Alliance of American Football. Gilbert is our No. 28 quarterback this week.

This puts Schoonmaker more or less in TE streaming consideration, but there are far better options this week, which puts him low on the totem pole.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
