Broncos coach Josh McDaniels, who today began preparing his team for Sunday's opener at Jacksonville, said the competition for the No. 2 quarterback spot remains open.
Tim Tebow, the first-year, Jacksonville-born player from the University of Florida, is competing for the position with former Notre Dame star Brady Quinn.
One of them will be inactive Sunday.
"We're not going to name (the No. 2 QB) right now," McDaniels said during his press conference this morning. "We got three that we like and ... (Tebow and Quinn) are going to compete and we'll try to make the decision that we feel is best on game day for our team, based on how we're going to play the game."
