Titans receiver Kenny Britt beat himself up following a dreadful preseason finale. Then Coach Jeff Fishermade it known the second-year pro needed to get focused or be prepared to sit on the bench.
Monday, Britt said it's all behind him.
"It's always a clean slate, every time you come on the practice field, any time you come in the meeting rooms," Britt said. "I am not trying to dwell on that. I am just trying to stay focused and do what I have done my whole life, to play football. You can't blame someone for a bad day. Maybe I'll have a great day next."
The Titans hope that's the case as they prepare for Sunday's season opener against the Raiders. They are looking for a big year from Britt, the 2009 first-round pick who led the team in receiving yards last season, but at times he has had problems staying focused.
