Seahawks informed RB Chris Carson that they will not place their franchise tag on him, per source. Carson set to hit free agency.

Fantasy Impact:

Heading into the fifth year in the league, Chris Carson has posted two 1100+ yard outputs with Seattle and could be a tremendous asset to another backfield in 2021. For now, this leaves the Seahawks with Rashard Penny, DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
