On Deshaun Watson: Texans have not given up on him being their QB this year. They’re not taking lowball offers. This is why they aren’t being overly communicative with teams. Barring a strong offer, Texans brass will to try to get him back into the fold before the season begins.
Robinson acknowledged another beat writer, John McLain, who tweeted Watson will never play another down for the Texans. But Robinson is just reporting the team is taking one last shot at a possible Aaron Rodgers-type solution. Robinson said this all may not be likely, but the Texans "haven't folded up shop" just yet when it comes to Watson playing for them this season. For what it's worth, Watson is taking part in drills today and another tweet showed Watson hitting Anthony Miller in a 1-on-1 drill.
