Eagles Beat: Jalen Reagor showing encouraging progress
Reuben Franks of NBC Sports Philadelphia wrote an entire piece dedicated to WR Jalen Reagor and his improvement as a receiver. "There’ve been a lot of encouraging things in these first two weeks of camp, but Reagor’s emergence and his ability to consistently make plays has been eye-opening," Frank wrote. "Now, whether he can carry it over to the games remains to be seen. We won’t begin to get an answer to that until next month...But there’s no question the Jalen Reagor we’re seeing this summer is a different guy than the one we saw last year. More comfortable. More confident. More focused. More accountable."
Reading the entire piece is recommended and what should be taken from it is more positive than negative. One aspect that has stood out for the Eagles is the return to health across the board, and that helps Reagor the same as everyone else. The competition for snaps at receiver is wide open and Regaor is competing with another 1st-round pick and to pass catchers that had strong spurts with the team in 2020.
Reagor deserves our attention as the Eagles get ready for their second preseason game.
