2021 NFC East Betting Preview

My divisional preview series is designed to be a long-form extension of our Move The Line division betting breakdowns. I'll be previewing each division while providing you with insight on the best ways to bet on each team. This time, we're looking at the NFC East.

If Dak Prescott is healthy for a full 17-game schedule, the Cowboys have a Super Bowl-caliber offense. That's a big if, though. An even bigger challenge remains on the defensive side of the ball, where new defensive coordinator Dan Quinn will be tasked with scheming up a unit full of holes.

The Washington Football Team failed to come up with a new moniker this offseason, but they did end up with a new quarterback. Ryan Fitzpatrick continues his quest to play for every NFL team before he retires. This time, stepping into a ready-baked situation in the nation's capital, surrounded by weapons and an elite defense to support him.

The Giants flirted with a playoff run last season, but in a division where the top-seed was 7-9, I'm not sure that's something to brag about. There are reasons for optimism in New York, but the Giants' season hinges on the success of Daniel Jones and the offensive line.

Thankfully, your first press conference doesn't determine your success in the league as a head coach. Otherwise, it'd be a one-and-done scenario for new Eagles coach Nick Sirianni. It's a rebuilding year for the Eagles, and they'll give Jalen Hurts the first crack at holding down the quarterback gig before entering the 2022 draft with a plethora of picks.
