New England Patriots wide receiver Nelson Agholor missed Thursday's practice session with an ankle injury.
Agholor has now logged two straight DNP's and is in danger of missing Week 1's contest against the Miami Dolphins. Mac Jones was already going to have a daunting task squaring off against Xavien Howard and Byron Jones but now may be without one of his top three receivers. With N'Keal Harry on injured reserve, the Patriots may be down to Gunner Olszewski as the number three wide receiver. The Patriots are built to use two tight end formations frequently and may spend even more time in that package if Agholor is ruled out. Kendrick Bourne gets a slight upside bump with this news. Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry will both be in line to see a higher target volume and snaps out wide.
