Denver Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels said the team likely won’t decide until Sunday if right guard Chris Kuper, trying to recover from knee and ankle injuries sustained last weekend against Jacksonville, will be able to play against the Seahawks.
Should Kuper be ruled out, veteran Russ Hochstein would start at right guard. Hochstein started 10 games for the Broncos in 2009, first as an injury replacement and then after leapfrogging Ben Hamilton into the starting lineup. Hamilton now plays for the Seahawks, and could start, depending on Seattle’s own injury situation.
Meanwhile, it appears certain right tackle Ryan Harris will miss his second straight game with an ankle injury. He will be replaced again by rookie Zane Beadles.
