Streaming Tight Ends: Week 13 Targets
The regular season is dwindling and the never-ending scramble to find a consistent tight end producer off of the waiver wire becomes more frantic as we head into the playoff season. Whether you’re looking for a one-week fill-in or looking ahead to secure an option with an easy matchup in the weeks ahead, we’ve got you covered below.
More Week 13 Streaming: QB | K | DST
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season continues to progress and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.
To provide the advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.
Week 12 Review
It certainly doesn’t get much worse from a streaming position than Week 12. Austin Hooper did nothing with his three targets as teammate David Njoku (11.0 half-PPR points) was pretty much the only fantasy asset to produce anything at all for the Cleveland Browns. We had John Bates as an option if Ricky Seals-Johns didn’t go but then Logan Thomas was a surprise healthy addition to Washington, being eased back into play and nullifying any streaming options in the process. Evan Engram continues to be one of the least efficient players in the league and Albert O couldn’t out-perform Noah Fant. Onto next week.
