Dallas Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins increased his practice work during the week but will go into the Houston game unsure whether he will be restricted by a bruised right knee.
Jenkins incurred the injury during the fourth quarter of last week's loss to Chicago. According to Jenkins, the medical staff didn't want to risk aggravating the injury with a heavy week of practice.
"We're going to try it out on Sunday," Jenkins said. "Right now I feel good."
It's not like Jenkins is a shutdown corner like Champ Bailey, but against Houston's high-powered passing game, the Cowboys need all the help they can get. The Cowboys defense should be benched this weekend.
