Cantonrep.com: Kellen Winslow admits the players are talking about
uncertainty in relation to the bosses and says he wants to stay in
Cleveland. "I don't know what's gonna happen," the Browns TE said
at his locker stall today. Winslow's contract extends through the
2010 season. He is scheduled to make $4.5 million in '09 and $4.75
million the following year. "I love being a Cleveland Brown," he
said. "The guys here ... we don't know who's gonna be here. We
just have to focus on this year, so that's all you can do." What
does he think will happen with the coaching staff and front-office
personnel? "I mean, that's the he-said, she-said thing going
around, but we can't focus on that," he said. "I do want to be
back here. I love being here. I love playing here. The fans have
stuck by me, so ... yeah." Winslow and GM Phil Savage were at odds
midway through the season. Is there anything still to that? "No,
Mr. Lerner and I have a very good relationship, so I'm very happy
with him," Winslow said.
