As the legalization of sports betting continues to explode, more and more people are diving into a new way of speculating on sports. For those just starting off, I broke down some of the basics in my gambling 101 piece. Among every category of bets, player props remain the most beatable in the long run. Last year, I hit 59% of my bets for +35 units on the season. The two years prior were much of the same, hitting 57% and 58%, respectively, of my player props for profitable seasons. Super Wild Card Weekend Recap: Last week was rough. I went just 3-5 and had one of my few losing weeks on the season. Zay Jones caught his fifth pass with just 30 seconds left in the game, busting our under. Dawson Knox recorded the most yards by a tight end against the New England Patriots all season, largely because they decided to inexplicably alter their defensive gameplan. The Cowboys deserved to lose considering CeeDee Lamb was out-targeted by Cedrick Wilson and was running wind sprints on the outside all game. Who planned that? Either way, it was a tough week but I’m ready to get back at it for the Divisional Round.
