2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Round 4 Betting & Showdown Picks
As the 36-hole leader, Seamus Power continued his gradual decline during Saturday's third round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, while more than a half-dozen players worked their way back into the mix. Nobody more so than Jordan Spieth, whose 9-under score, combined with Power's 3-over round, allowed Spieth to gain an amazing 12 shots on Friday's leader. Spieth, along with Patrick Cantlay and Joel Dahmen, sit in a tie for fourth place, one shot behind leaders Andrew Putnam, Tom Hoge and Beau Hossler. Power dropped all the way to seventh place at 13-under.
With seven players within two shots of the lead, Sunday's final round at Pebble Beach will present numerous storylines. Pre-tournament favorite, Patrick Cantlay is the current favorite to win at +300. The fourth-ranked player in the world will attempt to continue his tremendous recent performance on the west coast even though he has been stymied in his last four events in California. Spieth (+350), who recently has struggled on Sundays, will try to replicate his approach play from Saturday where he gained over five shots on the field. Hoge (+500) and Hossler (+1000) are the only players among the leading seven who have yet to win on the PGA Tour. Then you have the question of whether Power (+900) can rebound from his poor play and leapfrog back to the top. With calm winds forecast again for Sunday, and Pebble Beach playing as the easiest course in the event by a large margin, scoring could be at a record-low level in the final round.
