After missing his second consecutive practice with a groin strain, the decision on whether or not Steven Jackson plays on Sunday could come down to a morning workout that day.
"Sunday we'll definitely go out before the game, warm up, see how I feel" shared Jackson after Thursday's practice. "Ideally I would like to get a practice in either tomorrow or Saturday. So we still have two days of practice that I could go out and try it, but say Friday or Saturday it doesn't happen, I will be there early Sunday seeing if I can run and cut and seeing if I can go out there and give my team a lift."
The good news is Jackson and the Rams have a 1 p.m. game on Sunday, so you'll be able to plan accordingly if he can't go and won't necessarily have to rely on Kenneth Darby as your only option if it had been a later contest.
