FFPC Draft Strategy – $125 Best Ball Tournament Draft

On Wednesday, June 15, I virtually sat down with T.J. Hernandez to complete our first live Best Ball draft of the 2022 season on FFPC. We decided to record it (for better or worse) and give our taeks throughout.

A few key points about this format to note:

Unlike popular large-field tournaments on Underdog, the FFPC Best Ball flagship tournament maxes out at 9,072 entries.
The regular season stretches from Weeks 1-14 followed by a single-week elimination Playoff Bracket in Weeks 15-17.
20-round PPR (and 1.5 PPR for TEs) snake draft with the following starting lineup: 1-QB, 2-RB, 2-WR, 1-TE, 2-Flex (Flex can be RB, WR, or TE).
$200,000 to 1st, but all eliminated teams after Week 15 will have a choice between $900 cash or $500 cash plus four free entries into next year's Best Ball tournament.
