Either way, the Steelers are happy with Kenny Pickett’s development over the past month in just about every way possible. While it says PIckett is making a late push to pass Trubisky and start Week 1, the story mentions the team is taking it slow with Pickett, so it may not be quite enough. He took only third-team reps throughout the summer and halfway through training camp. Those have been bumped up to second-team now, and he’s even seeing more first-team reps, the story went on to say. As the story also pointed out, Pickett may not start Week 1, but the odds are pretty favorable he's going to play at some point this season.
