Coach Pete Carroll said he did not contemplate a switch to reserve quarterback Charlie Whitehurst during the St. Louis game, and he said Matt Hasselbeck will remain his starter.

“Matt needs to fight though this with the guys and see if we can work our way through it,” Carroll said.

Part of the offense’s struggles could be traced to the lack of stability up front. The Seahawks started a different offensive line combination for the third time in four games.

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
