Jets WR Elijah Moore to be benched in Week 7

Jets coach Robert Saleh says WR Elijah Moore won’t play Sunday. Says trade request is “part of what we deal with every day.” They will not trade him.

Saleh would go on to say he "doesn't think it's fair to ask him to play considering his mental state right now." Tough scene. Teammate Denzel Mims has been practicing at Moore's "X" spot, which could give him an opportunity to take advantage of the absence. Mims hasn't logged a snap in 2022 and has 31 receptions on his resume since being drafted in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
