The Philadelphia Eagles will sign rookie RB/WR Chad Hall off their practice squad. It’s not known yet who they will release to make room for Hall on their 53-man roster. All teams playing on Sunday must turn in any roster moves that will reflect their roster for this week's games by 4:00 p.m ET on Saturday.
Hall, who has tremendous short area quickness, should serve as Philadelphia’s fourth receiver for Sunday night’s game at the San Francisco 49ers. Hall also could be used as a running back.
Hall, 24, caught the eye of Philadelphia during his Pro Day workout earlier this year. A few days later, the team flew Hall in for a workout. After the workout, they were impressed enough to sign him to a three-year deal.
Rookie WR Riley Cooper (concussion) was ruled out for the game on Friday.
