NBA Player Prop Bets: Roll With The Role Players
After a monstrous slate of NBA action on Saturday, we have a rather tame slate of games on Sunday, leading to a relatively quiet prop market. Even so, I have outlined my three favorite NBA Player Props for Sunday, found below, all of which center around role players on this slate.
Regarding the process behind the plays, the suite of tools that 4for4 offers are second-to-none. I use the NBA Splits Tool to break down injury impacts and lineup changes and the NBA Prop Stat Explorer to look at historical data for how the player performs relative to their prop and compare it to our in-house projection. Using these alongside the Player Prop Finder to shop for the best line, 4for4 makes betting on NBA player props a stress-free and fun process.
Now, let’s put the tools to use and get to today’s top player props.
Today’s NBA Player Prop Bets (March 12, 2023)
Zach Collins Over 21.5 Points + Rebounds (-113 at FanDuel)
Collins has filled in admirably for the now-traded Jakob Poeltl since the deadline, having averaged 12.8 points and 8.0 rebounds per game since the All-Star Break in 26.9 minutes per game while posting a trio of double-doubles over his last seven games.
He draws one of the best overall matchups a big man can ask for against the Thunder, as they run at the sixth-fastest pace in the NBA while ranking 26th in rebounding rate and dead-last in rebounds allowed (46.6) per game. There’s also the looming potential that both Jeremy Sochan and Keldon Johnson sit out, as the Spurs have nothing to play for, and both players are listed as questionable. This would inflate both Collins’ rebounding and usage rates and, ultimately, would likely shift this line up a point or two.
