3 Intriguing Stacks to Draft in Underdog Fantasy Football Tournaments (July)
With the 4th of July weekend behind us, the fantasy football floodgates have been opened. The water is warm with our friends at Underdog offering a ton of different best-ball tournaments. These are draft-only fantasy football leagues with massive prize pools and no week-to-week maintenance. The most popular contest is Best Ball Mania, but they also have released a new weekly tournament called “Weekly Winners.” Chris Gee broke down his strategy for that which is a bit different than a regular best-ball league.

For those who are new, stacking is when you draft multiple players at the same time. This is a strategy that is crucial in best ball as it unlocks a correlated ceiling outcome for your team. For example, If Joe Burrow is your quarterback and he throws for 300 yards and three touchdowns, there is a good chance Ja'Marr Chase contributed a big chunk of that. Stacking adds a level of volatility to your team's range of outcomes, but to win your league and have a shot at winning some of the large prizes at the end, you will need as much potential upside as possible. Given that concept, there are a few stacks that stand out this season I don't see many people talking about.
