It's bad enough we had injuries to deal with, now the bye weeks have entered the chat. In Week 5, the major injury blow we were dealt was Matt Milano. He appears to be lost for the season. Luckily, we only have two teams on bye in Week 6; the Packers and Steelers.

Jamin Davis, LB, Washington Commanders

Jamin Davis is coming off a sub-par game, which could be good news if you’re in need of a potential full-time LB.

If your league mates are box score watchers, they might see his three-tackle game last week and pass. I don’t think you should. Cody Barton is leading the tackle share among the group, but Davis has tackle upside in this defense.

After seeing just 64% of the snaps in the first two weeks of the season, he’s been on the field for at least 75% of the snaps in three straight, including two games of at least 80% of the snaps.

In that span, he’s recording a 12.4% tackle rate, and that includes the three-tackle stinker against the Bears in Week 5. Davis has favorable matchups over the next few weeks, including:

Atlanta Falcons (20 tackles allowed to opposing LBs)
New York Giants (17 tackles allowed to opposing LBs)
Philadelphia Eagles (18 tackles allowed to opposing LBs)

Davis, in a full-time role, should be able to deliver LB3/4 value over the next several weeks if you’re navigating bye weeks or finding injury replacements.
