Fantasy Football Tight End Streaming Week 10: Otton's Usage Trending Up

The tight end position continued its recent fantasy football resurgence last week, as 15 players hit double-digit half-PPR fantasy points; a new seasonal record. Thirteen was the previous high, but we have seen as little as five double-digit options (Weeks 2, 6), as well as the miserable Week 1 slate that offered only two double-digit performances.

We’re dealing with four Week 10 bye weeks (Ravens, Bengals, Patriots, Jets), with Mark Andrews being the only consistent producer out of that group, but it’s still likely that some of us will need some help at the position this week.

For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.

Week 9 Review

Another fantastic week of streaming the position, as we hit three top-seven options from last week. Sadly, our two top options from last week have now graduated out of streaming recommendation, which is great to see for managers who were able to snag them last week but makes it a little more difficult for managers who still need help. Nevertheless, we will find more options ahead of Week 10 in the mean streets of the tight end position.
