Players to Target in Every Round of Fantasy Football Drafts
Draft season is here for the casual fantasy manager, while some of us sickos have been participating in best ball leagues since February. Through the dozens of drafts I’ve personally completed, there are players I find myself gravitating towards each round.
These are players I’m putting in the queue at their average draft position (ADP) and snatching up if they happen to slip past that cost. Here is one player in every round that I like for the 2024 season, depending on the type of build and strategy that’s being implemented.
* Note: I am using 4for4’s Multi-Site tool for ADP
Round 1: All of them
This greatly depends on draft spot, and all are viable options.
Round 2: Mike Evans, WR - Buccaneers
Six WRs are being drafted in the second round and Mike Evans is the most disrespected of them all. He’s played for 10 consecutive seasons and eclipsed 1,000 yards in every single one of them. But he’s getting old they say, and to that, I give you no signs of decline. Last year, Evans was seventh in average depth of target (13.91) and sixth in air yards per game (112.12) among players with at least 75 targets, and set career highs in yards after catch (322) and yards after catch per reception (4.1).
Evans certainly isn’t new and exciting, but he’s consistent and is leaving draft boards as the WR13, despite a WR5 finish.
