16 Stash Candidates Ahead of Week 3

What makes a player stash-worthy? These are guys who may be potential league winners at some point in the future, whether that’s next week or a handful of weeks down the road.

I’m looking at all kinds of stashes in the event the player above them on the depth chart is on shaky ground or might be nursing an injury, or possibly a matchup-based situation in the weeks ahead. Clear out those benches and make room for these up-and-comers.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB - Chiefs (2% rostered)

Your league mates will be looking to add Semaje Perine and rookie Carson Steele this week as a result of the patella injury to Isiah Pacheco. If you‘re unwilling to spend the FAAB or high pick on either, consider Clyde Edwards-Helaire instead. CEH is looking at a Week 5 return from the reserve/NFI list and had some bouts of success in this offense.

Andrei Iosivas, WR - Bengals (7% rostered)

His fantasy output is a tad misleading, as Andrei Iosivas was used as the exclamation point in both TD drives for the Bengals, coming away with two TDs on just two catches in Week 2 after a 3-26-0 line in the first contest. With Tee Higgins still on the shelf, the sophomore is garnering more looks and could continue to produce if Higgins is still out on Monday Night.

Iosivas is still worth a look either way as he may end up in the former role vacated by Tyler Boyd as the team’s WR3 when Higgins does return.
