Michigan Live: Earlier in the season, when there was some question
about who would be the starting quarterback for the Lions, head
coach Rod Marinelli said he wanted to keep his decision a secret
because his team might gain a competitive advantage. This time
around, there won't be any cat-and-mouse games -- Marinelli said
Monday that Dan Orlovsky would get his sixth start of the season
Sunday. The 0-14 Lions are looking for their first victory of the
season against the 7-7 Saints at Ford Field. There is still some
question, though, why Marinelli chose Orlovsky over Daunte Culpepper. Marinelli said he was happy with Orlovsky's turnover-
free performance in Detroit's 31-21 loss to the Colts. "Right now
he's very efficient with it. He's taken care of the ball well.
He's healthy and we'll keep moving forward now," Marinelli said.
