NFL Spread and O/U Picks: Hunter's Week 6 Best Bets
No lead was safe in Week 5. The Vikings barely outlasted the Jets after starting up 17-0, allowing some bettors out there to cash a first-coach-fired ticket as the Jets relieved Robert Saleh of his duties this morning. Ravens and Bengals nearly reached 1,000 total yards before Justin Tucker ultimately called game in overtime. The Colts put up 24 points in the 4th quarter, with Joe Flacco falling just shy of the Jaguars. The Houston Texans found another creative way to almost lose a game in which they had more than 100+ yards and 1.5 yards per play more than their opponent. The 49ers go 0-5 in the red zone after losing their kicker and let the Cardinals sneak out a win. And the Cowboys eke out a win in a game that started on Sunday and ended on a Monday.
We ended the week by going 3-6 for -7.73 units. 2024 sides are currently 8-17-2 for -23.86 units. I wrote last week about why I think that’s unlikely to continue, but the final scoreboards keep proving me wrong. If someone just took the first half versions of all 9 bets, they would have went 7-2 on the week. It was a brutal second half to watch in nearly all the games. In the meantime, I’ll move on to Week 6:
