Devin Singletary still dealing with a groin problem. Coach Brian Daboll said “we’ll see” about his starting running back.

Could be another Tyrone Tracy game.

While Eric Gray was technically the first running back to touch the ball last week, he would fumble the ball on the 1-yard line later in the same drive and spend the rest of the game firmly in the doghouse. Tracy took his opportunity and ran for 129 yards, so you have to figure he'll get the chance to repeat his performance if Singletary is out. The Bengals defense has been flat all year, so Tracy profiles as an RB2 with upside for more.

Houston gets a 2026 conditional sixth-round pick in exchange for Akers and a 2026 conditional seventh-round pick. Of course, it’s a reunion for Akers and Minnesota, which also traded for him last season, the story pointed out. The worry now is maybe Jones, who was injured (hip) before the Vikings bye week, isn't fully healthy just yet, despite being able to practice so far this week. However, the Vikings, who sit at 5-0 so far this season, may just want more RB depth behind Jones and Chandler. As for the Texans, Mixon and Pierce look to be healthy again, and with the emergence of Ogunbowale over the last couple of weeks, Akers became expendable.
