Fantasy Football Defense Streaming Week 11: Pride of Detroit

As we said off the top last week, it was a rough week for streaming defenses. The combination of byes and matchups made things difficult last week. We’re back this week looking for defenses available in at least 40 percent of leagues.

Thankfully, this is looking like a better week for streaming as most of the teams on bye haven’t been on our radar anyway.

Week 10 Review

We thought it would be a tough week, and we were right. Thanks to Sunday night's interception-fest, the Lions finished as a top 10 DST on the week and the Chargers took advantage of Will Levis back under center in Tennessee to tie the Lions for 10th on the week.

Unfortunately, Chicago’s defense couldn’t get after Drake Maye and was a big miss in a solid spot. They were also highly rostered in DFS this week, so it was a miss all around. Atlanta couldn’t do much against Derek Carr and the Saints as they were upset in New Orleans.

Overall, we’re at 27 hits and 10 misses this year.

Top Defensive Streaming Options for Week 11

Detroit Lions vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Rostered in 62% of Yahoo leagues

The Lions are likely going to be the most-added team this week and while they are just outside of our 40% available threshold, they are close enough that I’m going to take some liberties here. This is a smash matchup against a reeling Jaguars offense without Trevor Lawrence. Mac Jones had three turnovers last week.

The Jaguars are 16th aFPA against opposing defenses, but with the way the offense looks with Mac Jones, this is a prime matchup to target the rest of the season. We’ll start this week by looking for the Lions DST that is forcing turnovers, even if they aren’t consistently getting to the quarterback.
