Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck (head) continues to miss practice and reports indicate he will not play this week. Charlie Whitehurst will get the first start of his 5 year career. Whitehurst has never even thrown and NFL pass and goes against a Giants defense known for getting to the quarterback. All Seahawks are risky plays this week. The Giants are the #1 fantasy defense in week 9.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
