Rematch of Super Bowl LVII
The Chiefs beat the Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII two seasons ago on a game-winning field goal by Harrison Butker. Patrick Mahomes was 21/27 for 182 yards with 3 passing touchdowns in the victory while claiming his second Super Bowl MVP trophy. Mahomes also had 44 yards rushing including a clutch 26-yard run on the final drive to set up the game-winning field goal.
Jalen Hurts was great as well throwing for 304 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 70 yards and 3 scores. He even had an octopus in the game! That's when a player scores a touchdown and then also converts the two-point conversion. He did that late in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 35.
