Rookie running back James Starks wore pads and practiced for the first time as a Packer. He has been out since pulling a hamstring in a late July conditioning run.
From appearances, it would seem that Starks would be several weeks away from playing in a game. He worked behind Brandon Jackson, John Kuhn and Dimitri Nance.
Fantasy Impact:
Many consider, and hope, Starks can be a late-season sleeper to eventually get a bulk of carries for the Packers. And, while the potential is there, it looks like we'll have to wait a while to see. He's worth stashing in deeper leagues but right now he appears to only be taking up roster space.
