Clinton Portis is among the players on the early inactives list for tonight's game between the Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles at FedEx Field, according to the NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora.
Portis, who tore a groin muscle when the teams played Nov. 4, suffered a setback in his recovery last week, Jason Reid reported, so the move would not be a huge surprise. Ryan Torain would start in his place.
Brandon Banks, who underwent knee surgery during the Redskins' bye week, is expected to play tonight, LaCanfora reports.
Look for Ryan Torain and Keiland Williams to get action tonight. Torain is reportedly close to 100% and should get a majority of touches, but against a red-hot Eagles rushing defense.
