After back-to-back games without a catch followed by the first game he’d missed due to injury in over seven years, Donald Driver is cautiously optimistic he’ll be back to being himself Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings at the Metrodome.
“Knowing me, I’m one of those guys that can fight through anything. I couldn’t fight through it anymore,” the Green Bay Packers’ 35-year-old wide receiver said Wednesday of the quadriceps injury that dates back to the team’s Oct. 17 loss to Miami. “It was one of those things, I had to let it heal on its own. It feels good now, and I’m hoping everything works out and I’ll be going on Sunday.”
