Cleveland Browns top pick Joe Haden could be getting close to cracking the starting lineup.

Defensive coordinator Rob Ryan gave the rookie cornerback a ringing endorsement Friday.

"Joe could start any day," said Ryan. "We're just going to line him up and play him. Whether he starts or gets his name called when they announce it, that's another thing. Is the guy good enough to start? [Heck] yes. He's good enough to start for any team in the league, including ours."

Ryan praised Haden's game against the Jets, one in which he stepped in for the injured Sheldon Brown and played 87 snaps on defense and another 20 on special teams.

Jayden Daniels' status is week-to-week, and while he's likely out for the Denver game Monday night, Week 14 is a realistic possibility. Daniels wants to play again this season. If he's medically cleared next week, starting vs. the Vikings on Dec. 7 is at least on the table. Shutting Daniels down has been a talking point the past few weeks, but that doesn't seem to be the team's plan at this point. Daniels is a young player who could use reps, and the injury was to his non-throwing elbow, so it shouldn't affect his long-term outlook, assuming he gets the green light.

Fowler also mentioned that both Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown are expected to return to practice soon, so this is all positive news from a fantasy perspective. Whenever Daniels is on the field, he is in high-end QB1 consideration
