Tackle Shawn Andrews is traveling with the New York Giants to Philadelphia and will likely be a game-time decision.
Andrews made the trip despite missing practice time this week with a sore back. Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said doctors will decide if Andrews can play against the Eagles on Sunday night. If he doesn't start, William Beatty will start at left tackle.
The Giants also moved tight end Jake Ballard from the practice squad to the active roster and waived defensive back D.J. Johnson. Kevin Boss has been dealing with a back injury and missed some practice time during the week. He was expected to play. The Giants may need another blocker with the offensive line dealing with so many injuries.
Tackle David Diehl, center Shaun O'Hara, fullback Madison Hedgecock and wide receiver Steve Smith are all ruled out and did not make the trip.
