Sunday's loss didn't hurt Jimmy Clausen as much as the previous week's defeat at Tampa Bay – physically, anyway.
Clausen was on the sideline for Carolina's 37-13 loss to Baltimore – a week after the Carolina Panthers' rookie quarterback sustained a concussion on the final play against the Buccaneers.
Clausen developed headaches after the game that worsened during the Panthers' trip home from Florida. He has not yet been cleared to play and said he is scheduled to meet with the doctor again Tuesday or Wednesday.
"I'm feeling a lot better than I did last week," Clausen said in the locker room. "I'm just trying to keep resting as much as I can to hopefully get back to play next week."
