By the time the Cincinnati Bengals host New Orleans on Dec. 5, it is quite possible that they could have a new kicker.
After Aaron Pettrey went one for two in Thursday night’s 26-10 loss to the Jets, coach Marvin Lewis said on Friday that they will look over all their options.
Pettrey, who was signed on Nov. 16 after a knee injury ended Mike Nugent’s season, was wide left from 27 yards before making one from 28 early in the fourth quarter.
In two games, Pettrey is two of four on field goals.
Two veteran options out there right now as far as replacements are Kris Brown and Jeff Reed.
