With their top two receivers out with injuries, the Seattle Seahawks needed someone to step up and create some big plays.
Tight end Cameron Morrah answered the call.
The 6-foot-5, 251-pounder out of Cal replaced John Carlson in the lineup when missed the game with an injured hip flexor. And Morrah took advantage of his opportunity, finishing with three receptions for 69 yards, including a long catch of 36 yards.
“Some plays got called up and I was able to make the most of them,” Morrah said. “Matt (Hasselbeck) had a couple great passes to me, caught me right in stride. A lot of the guys went down, other people have to step up and take advantage of opportunities and help the team.”
